Electrical Design Engineer Location: Irlam, Greater Manchester Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + bonuses + company vehicle package Job Type: Permanent, Full-time The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of an established commercial and industrial electrical contractor looking to expand its in-house design team with an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. Working across a varied portfolio of commercial and retail projects, you will be involved in CAT A and CAT B fit-outs, refurbishments and new installations. You will collaborate closely with the design, estimating, project management and site teams to deliver practical, accurate electrical designs from initial planning through to installation. The Role As Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing detailed electrical designs, calculations and technical drawings that meet project requirements, current regulations and installation standards. Key responsibilities include: Designing low-voltage (LV) power distribution, small power, lighting and associated electrical safety systems. Producing accurate electrical layouts, schematics and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
