Mechanical Design Engineer

Arden White Recruitment are currently working with a leading formula one business seeking Mechanical Design Engineers on a contract basis.

Responsibilites

• Design and development of parts and components
• Liaising with other technical groups including aerodynamics, simulation and FE
• Data analysis and making recommendations for improvements
• Reporting of results in a clear, concise and structured manner
• Reliability and fault investigation and the designing of any required fixes

Person Specification

• Experience in F1 or similar design environment and knowledge of drawing standards
• Knowledge of metallic and composite materials and manufacturing techniques
• High Level of Proficiency in CATIA 3DExp preferred or similar
• Basic PC skills – Word / Excel
• FEA experience
