Mechanical Design Engineer (Creo) 50.10 Per Hour + 12 Month Contract + Potential Extension + Advanced Engineering Projects + Global Team EnvironmentPeterborough (Commutable from: Stamford, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Ely, Spalding, Wisbech, Corby, Northampton)Are you a Design Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on next-generation diesel engine aftertreatment systems, taking products from concept through to production within a high-tech, global engineering environment?On offer is an exciting 12-month contract (with potential extension) supporting New Product Introduction programmes, where you will play a key part in delivering robust emissions solutions alongside international engineering teams and key suppliers.You will join a well-established, global manufacturer with a major UK presence and a strong reputation for engineering excellence, quality and long-term investment in their people and technology. Due to continued project demand, they are now looking to add an additional Design Engineer to their specialist team.In this role you will design and develop aftertreatment components and assemblies using Creo, produce and maintain drawings, specifications and Bills of Materials, and apply GDandT to ensure designs meet performance, durability, quality and cost targets.
