A rare opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a prestigious global banking institution in the heart of Canary Wharf. This high-profile site demands exceptional standards of engineering and professionalism. You ll be responsible for maintaining critical mechanical infrastructure in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across HVAC systems, chilled water, pumps, and pressurisation units

Conduct daily plant room inspections and ensure all equipment is operating efficiently

Respond to breakdowns and faults swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations

Monitor and maintain water treatment systems in compliance with L8 regulations

Liaise with on-site management and external contractors to coordinate works

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with statutory regulations

Requirements:NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services

Proven experience in a critical or corporate environment (e.g., banking, data centres)

Strong understanding of HVAC, chilled water systems, and BMS controls

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
