Mechanical Days Only Shift - Docklands

Position: Mechanical Days Only Shift Engineer
Location: Docklands, East London
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: 4 on 4 off, Days Only (7am - 7pm)
 
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Days Only Shift Engineer to join a well-established FM service provider, working within a prestigious commercial facility in the Docklands, East London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong track record of career development and in-house progression opportunities.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Carry out mechanical and basic maintenance duties, including both PPMs and reactive maintenance
• Work as part of an on-site engineering team, alongside an Electrical Engineer
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures and statutory requirements
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Support the delivery of a safe and efficient working environment

 
Requirements:
 

• Mechanical bias with relevant trade qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Proven experience working within a commercial building environment
• Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexible approach, with the willingness to cover overtime as required
