Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location: Milton KeynesSalary: 16.64 per hour, increasing with experienceHours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pmHours: 40 hours per weekWe are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join an established business within the powered access and MEWP industry.This is a hands-on role working on prototype and development machines, assembling mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components and helping bring new products from design through to working machines.The RoleAssemble prototype and development machines.Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical assembly.Work from engineering drawings and technical instructions.Use hand and power tools to complete assembly work.Identify and resolve build issues.Support engineers with new product development and design changes.Provide practical feedback to improve products.Assist with testing and development of new equipment.Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.About YouWe are looking for someone with:Previous experience in mechanical assembly, engineering or manufacturing.A relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship is preferred.Practical experience with mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems.Ability to read engineering drawings.Confident use of hand and power tools.Good practical problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience within plant, powered access, agricultural machinery, heavy machinery, vehicles or similar engineering environments would be ..... full job details .....
