You will be responsible for a small team of Assembly Technicians and for ensuring the company s products are manufactured to expected quality levels and timescales. Key Skills and Experience: Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge or time served in a practical role that could offer transferable skills. Ability to understand and work from schematic drawings. Self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills. Knowledge and experience of basic assembly techniques including crimping, wiring, press fit jointing etc. Ability to use a range of hand tools (drilling, tapping, cutting etc). Competent user of IT and computer equipment Willing to undertake professional development training as required. Main responsibilities: Carry out the manufacturing and assembly of the company s products in accordance with production drawings and specifications.
