Mechanical and Electrical Compliance Manager Ealing, W5 2HL Hybrid Working (2-3 days in the office/on-site) 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3-Month Contract (with possible extension) ASAP Start £36.37 PAYE / £47.74 Umbrella per hour About the Role A leading Local Authority is seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Compliance Manager to join its Housing Asset Management team on an interim basis. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and effective management of mechanical and electrical systems across a large residential housing portfolio. You will provide technical expertise, oversee compliance programmes, manage contractors, and ensure that all statutory obligations relating to electrical, gas, water, lifts and wider MandE services are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional currently working within a Local Authority or Housing Association environment to make an immediate impact. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of MandE compliance programmes across housing assets. Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements relating to electrical, gas, water, lifts and associated building services. Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and compliance schedules. Oversee contractor performance, ensuring quality standards, KPIs and compliance requirements are achieved.
