The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Shropshire from October 2026 on a supply basis.
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ mathematical knowledge, understanding, fluency and problem-solving skills.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS or be an ECT specialising in Mathematics
Have strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
Be able to deliver engaging and accessible lessons
Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students with different abilities
Be organised, reliable and committed to supporting student progress
Build positive professional relationships with students and colleagues

The School
You will be joining an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Shropshire, working with students across KS3 and KS4.
This supply opportunity provides the chance to contribute positively to students’ mathematical development while becoming part of the school’s wider teaching team.
