The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Shropshire from November 2027. This full-time supply opportunity is suitable for an experienced teacher with QTS or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) specialising in Mathematics.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5, helping students develop their mathematical knowledge, confidence, fluency and problem-solving skills. You will plan and deliver effective lessons, monitor student progress and maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT specialising in Mathematics.
• Have strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Maths across KS3–KS5.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching to support learning.
• Be organised, reliable and committed to raising achievement.

This opportunity is based at an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Shropshire. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting students’ mathematical development and contributing to positive learning outcomes across all key stages.
