The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a Good-rated secondary school in Shropshire from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term supply opportunity teaching Maths across the secondary age range.
You will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ mathematical understanding, fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills. The role includes planning, marking and assessment, with a strong focus on supporting student progress and maintaining high expectations.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have QTS and strong subject knowledge, with experience teaching Maths at secondary level. The school would welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as ECTs who are looking for a supportive environment to develop their teaching practice.
You should be confident managing classroom behaviour, differentiating lessons effectively and engaging students of a range of abilities. A positive attitude, strong organisation and commitment to raising attainment are essential.
