Maths Teacher

Do you have a passion for numbers and a gift for making complex mathematical concepts accessible for bright young women? We're thrilled to be looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher to join our Outstanding girls' school in Brent on a permanent, full-time basis, starting this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop problem-solving skills and logical thinking in our students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), and potentially Key Stage 5, right here in West London.

What you'll be doing:

• You'll be planning and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons, nurturing numerical fluency and a deep understanding of mathematical principles, tailored for girls.
• It's about guiding students through algebra, geometry, statistics, and potentially introductory calculus, fostering confidence and a love for the subject.
• You'll cultivate a challenging yet supportive classroom environment where students feel empowered to tackle problems, explore different strategies, and appreciate the elegance of mathematics.

What we're looking for for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching engaging and effective Maths lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
• A strong command of the mathematics curriculum and a knack for explaining complex ideas clearly.
• Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a real passion for inspiring mathematical curiosity.
