Maths Teacher

A dedicated and inspiring Maths Teacher is required to join the highly successful Mathematics department of an Outstanding co-educational secondary academy in North Wembley (Brent), commencing a permanent full-time position in September. Responsibilities

• They will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to students aged 11-18 (Key Stages 3, 4, and 5).
• The role involves fostering a love for mathematics and developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a structured learning environment.
• They will contribute to a strong work ethic within a learning community that prioritises high-quality teaching across the curriculum.
• Assessment and monitoring of student progress in Mathematics, along with providing feedback, will be required.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics is essential.
• A passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential are crucial.
• Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3, 4, and ideally 5, is desirable.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills are necessary.
