Materials Handler 6 Month Contract Location: Severn Beach, Bristol Salary: £13.50 per hour + 10% Shift allowance £1.96 holiday pay= £16.50-£17 per hour Shift: Monday Thursday 06 00, Friday 06 00 Shift Allowance: 10% Contract: 6 months, with potential for extension The Company A leading engineering and technology business based in Severn Beach, Bristol, is looking for a Contract Materials Handler to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. The business works within advanced engineering and manufacturing, supplying technology and solutions used across areas including semiconductors, medical technology, electric vehicles and quantum computing. The Role As a Materials Handler, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of materials throughout the site, from goods-in through to production and goods-out. You will work closely with production and other departments to ensure materials are correctly received, stored, picked and delivered where required. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming materials, check against delivery notes and accurately book items into the system. Correctly label, protect and store materials in designated locations. Pick and prepare materials and kits for production. Ensure materials are accurately labelled with the relevant part, work order or destination. Liaise with production teams to ensure materials are delivered on time. Prepare and issue palletised and high-level assembly goods to production.
