Material Handling and Warehouse Operator GKN Aerospace Bristol, Western ApproachContract: 6 Months OngoingHours: 37.5 Hours per WeekReporting To: Site Logistics ManagerGKN Aerospace is seeking experienced Material Handling and Warehouse Operators to support the efficient movement, storage and control of materials across a busy manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring materials are received, stored, tracked and delivered to support operational and production requirements.Successful candidates will follow standard material handling procedures, operate warehouse equipment safely, maintain accurate inventory records, and contribute to continuous improvements in safety, quality and efficiency.Shift Patterns and Pay Rates We are recruiting for positions across the following shift patterns: Core Days: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 15:30 - £14.92 per hour7 Day Fortnight Days : Typically 06:00 - 18:00 - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat Sun (Week 1), Wed, Thurs (Week 2) - £19.10 per hour Key Responsibilities Follow standard work procedures for material handling activities including receiving, shipping, warehousing and inventory control.Perform all duties in accordance with safety, quality and operational requirements.Operate approved material handling equipment including forklifts, tow trains and other site-specific equipment.Record material movements accurately within transactional record systems, including goods receipts, bookings and inventory transactions.Support inbound ..... full job details .....
