Manufacturing Technician Location: Loughborough - Bishop Meadow Road Pay Rate: 13.20 per hour Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMThe Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for the safe and accurate packing of chemical products into a variety of containers and packaging formats. You will work in a regulated environment, following strict procedures and safety guidelines.With training and strong performance, there is an opportunity to progress to Manufacturing Technician within 12 months.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow work orders and packaging instructions accuratelyOperate filling, labelling, and packing equipment (manual and automated)Measure, weigh, and verify raw materials to ensure batch accuracyCheck batch numbers, product codes, and labels for correctnessPack finished goods and palletise for warehouse transferPerform routine quality checks and inspectionsMaintain accurate production and quality recordsCarry out basic equipment maintenanceFollow all health, safety, and environmental procedures (including COSHH)Report any incidents, hazards, or safety concerns promptlyMaintain housekeeping standards (5S)Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, TPM, etc.)Be flexible to work across departments as neededHealth and SafetyAdhere strictly to PPE requirements (provided on-site)Follow manual handling and chemical safety proceduresWork in line with environmental and safety regulations Requirements Essential Skills and AttributesPhysically fit, reliable, and ..... full job details .....
