Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Coatings Technician to support our client production team. You will carry out surface preparation, load setup, coating chamber preparation, equipment checks, and final packing/despatch. Full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare customer components (cleaning, blasting, masking)
- Set up production loads using jigs and fixtures
- Prepare and test coating chambers
- Review data and complete documentation
- Perform equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Maintain high 5S/housekeeping standards
- Support audits and continuous improvement activities
Requirements
Essential:
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights
- Physically able to meet manual handling needs
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Coating or manufacturing experience
- Forklift licence
- Basic IT skills
