Job Role: Manufacturing Manager

Location: Birmingham




Salary: -45,000 - -50,000 per annum (depending on experience)



Metalis are currently working with a UK leading manufacturer, who are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join their team.



Job Duties:

• Plan and organise production schedules, identify resource and shift requirements
• Set & document worker performance goals, evaluate and review performance and identify training needs
• Manage & maintain material recycling procedure in line with ISO14001
• Liaise across teams and departments to ensure a smooth and efficient production process
• Manage and maintain stocked material & component levels, liaising with purchasing and accounts
• Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met
• Focus on continuous improvement that drives cost out of the business and improves efficiency
• Complete monthly production meetings
• Manage production team and recruitment needs

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years'' proven experience in production, operations or manufacturing management
• HND/HNC or apprenticeship in engineering, manufacturing or similar
• Project Management experience is essential
• Six Sigma experience and qualifications
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications

Salary, Shift & Benefits:

• -45,000 - -50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
