Manufacturing EngineerGloucester - Permanent - Full-time - Salary up to £55,000The Manufacturing Engineer will focus on optimising and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production operations. Responsible for driving continuous improvement across production systems, improving workflow efficiency, reducing waste, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.Working closely with production, quality, and design teams to deliver operational improvements and help develop a high-performing manufacturing environment.The Role:Identify and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing techniquesProvide hands-on technical support to resolve manufacturing and production issuesDevelop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve productivityWork with the Quality team to maintain and improve standards and performanceSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept through to productionSpecify, design, and implement tools, fixtures, and equipment to improve efficiencyMonitor and analyse production performance using data and statistical toolsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsCollaborate cross-functionally to align manufacturing operations with wider business objectivesThe Person:Degree (or equivalent) in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial EngineeringExperience within a manufacturing or production engineering environmentStrong knowledge of Lean ..... full job details .....
