Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace and Defence Fully Onsite 12-Month Contract £33 £35 per hour (Umbrella) BPSS required, SC clearance to be obtained (in flight) We re currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to support a busy and fast-paced assembly environment, working across complex electro-mechanical products. This is a hands-on role focused on improving manufacturing efficiency, supporting multiple projects, and ensuring high-quality builds delivered on time and to budget.Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain Manufacturing Instructions to support productionDesign, commission, and prove tooling required for assembly processesSupport industrial validation activities (FMEA, FAI, etc.)Investigate and resolve manufacturing and technical issuesImplement route card updates following rework or process changesManage configuration control, incorporating design changes into manufacturing documentationSupport non-conformance activities using SAPWork closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement Essential Requirements: Qualification route: Advanced/Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering/Manufacturing plus Level 4 qualification (HNC/Diploma etc.)OR Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with 5 years experience Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate into clear build instructions Experience in electronic sub-assembly through to full system builds Knowledge of small/miniature electro-mechanical assembly processes Strong ..... full job details .....
