Adept Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Manual Vertical Borer on behalf of our client, based in Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience operating large manual vertical boring machines to join a stable and growing company with a strong reputation for quality and craftsmanship.Key Responsibilities:Operate manual vertical boring machines to produce medium to heavy components.Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.Machine components to precise tolerances, ensuring accuracy and high-quality standards.Perform self-inspection on completed parts to ensure conformance.Work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision.Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company procedures.Contribute to team productivity and meet daily targets and deadlines.Requirements:Proven experience operating manual vertical boring machines.Ability to interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings.Confident machining a range of materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals.Experience working with medium to heavy components.High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.Desirable:Formal engineering or machining qualifications.Previous experience in a subcontract or precision engineering environment.At Adept Resourcing - Commercial and Engineering, we specialise in connecting companies with top talent ..... full job details .....
