Manual Turner

An exciting opportunity to join an established and growing precision engineering business is seeking a skilled Manual Turner to join its machining team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.

Salary: Up to -35,000 (DOE)
Location: UK (On-site) East Sussex
Full-Time | Permanent

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience operating manual lathes and/or mills

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings

• Ability to work to tight tolerances

• Experience using measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers)

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Good understanding of health and safety practices

Desirable:

• Previous experience working in a machine shop environment

Qualifications:

• Time-served or equivalent experience in manual machining
