MEP Design Manager / London / andpound;70,000 - andpound;75,000

We are currently recruiting for a MEP Design Manager to join a leading engineering, infrastructure and building contractor based from their London office.

This position provides technical support to the pre-construction and operations teams. Responsibility for producing technical tender detail and for the development, review and management of day-to-day engineering services across a range of sectors including health, education, water and defence.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Experience of working for an MEP Engineering company both preconstruction and delivery is desirable.
• Experience writing technical answers for MEP bids
• Recognised Building Industry Accreditation andamp; have a good knowledge of Industry Legislation
• IT skills to an advanced level, including BIM experience and associated design packages
• Strong MEP technical design solutions andamp; engineering background, with experience of customer management
• Well-developed design management, bid, commercial and project management skills
• Good understanding and knowledge of design / quality systems and environmental procedures
• The ability to self-manage a project (incl. designers) to a tight deadline
