Job Title: Design Manager - Facade Specialist Location: London (with hybrid working options) Salary: 55,000 - 70,000 + package (Dependent on experience)Overview: We are looking for a detail-driven and experienced Design Manager with a background in facade to join a small to medium-sized contractor delivering a variety of high-end, high-profile projects across London. Their projects span commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors, covering both new build and cut-and-carve schemes. Stonework experience would be a significant advantage, though not essential - however, facade experience is a must.Key Responsibilities:Manage the design process from tender through to construction and project handoverCoordinate between in-house teams, external consultants, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of design packagesReview and manage technical drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and facade requirementsProactively identify and resolve design issues and drive value-engineering opportunitiesAttend design meetings, site visits, and liaise with the commercial and construction teams throughout the project lifecycleRequirements:Proven experience as a Design Manager or Senior Design Coordinator within the facade industryStrong technical knowledge of fa ade systems (curtain walling, cladding, glazing etc.)Stonework detailing experience would be highly desirableExcellent communication and coordination skills with a collaborative ..... full job details .....
