You''ll enjoy hybrid working (after your first six months), 30 days'' holiday plus bank holidays, enhanced pension, free lunches, and more - all while working with a team that''s open to your ideas and values your input.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:Implementing robust month end controls and processes from scratchPreparing management accounts, including KPIs, variance analysis, PandL, budgets, balance sheet, and cashflow forecastsOverseeing investment portfolio reportingProducing statutory accounts for review Preparing and submitting VAT returns, including partial exemption calculationsLeading the month end close, ensuring ledgers are posted accurately and on timeSupporting and supervising the finance team''s day-to-day activitiesWhat you will need:Previous experience in a similar role (Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar)Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or late-stage studierStrong technical accounting skills, especially around statutory accounts and year end auditExperience in the charity or education sector is a bonus, but ..... full job details .....
