This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys owning statutory reporting and compliance activities while also contributing to management reporting, budgeting and financial planning.Working closely with the Head of Finance, you''ll take responsibility for statutory accounts preparation, external audit management, VAT compliance and financial controls across multiple entities, whilst supporting wider reporting and analysis requirements.This role would suit a Financial Accountant, Technical Accountant or Management Accountant with strong statutory accounting experience who is looking for a broad and varied position.Key ResponsibilitiesStatutory Reporting and Audit• Lead the preparation of annual statutory accounts across multiple entities• Manage the year-end audit process and act as the primary contact for external auditors• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Charity Act, VAT, Corporation Tax and Gift Aid requirements• Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations and audit documentation• Review financial controls and ensure compliance with regulatory obligationsVAT and Financial Compliance• Prepare and review ..... full job details .....
