Key duties includeResponsible for monthly management accounts, leading month-end close, and ensuring accuracy of financial reporting and controlsOwnership of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning aligned to organisational objectivesKey involvement in year-end process, statutory accounts, and managing external audit relationshipsProduction of variance analysis and performance reporting, highlighting risks, opportunities, and cost efficienciesRegular business partnering with senior stakeholders, including CFO and senior leadership, to influence decision-makingOversight of regulatory and compliance reporting (e.g. VAT, audit, statutory obligations)Focus on process improvement, systems development, and strengthening financial controlsRequires qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical reporting, audit, and analytical capabilityStrong emphasis on commercial awareness, stakeholder communication, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
