Assistant Management Accountant Based in Chard Paying 30,000 - 35,000 Hybrid (first 6 months on site during probation period) An established professional services business in Chard is looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation.This is a varied, hands-on role offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to both operational finance activities and wider financial planning. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring the smooth running of the finance function while supporting the business through month-end, year-end and budgeting processes. Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing client payments through the client relationship management systemProcessing client disbursements and working closely with colleagues across the businessCompleting weekend and month-end reconciliationsMaintaining Sage purchase and sales ledgersSending invoices for approval and processing supplier paymentsUploading payments to the bank for authorisationCarrying out weekly bank reconciliations within SageManaging monthly petty cash reconciliationsPreparing and maintaining cash flow forecastsProducing VAT returns for review and submissionPreparing monthly management accounts using SageAssisting with annual accounts preparationSupporting the annual budgeting process alongside DirectorsProcessing quarterly corporation tax paymentsHandling client refunds where required About YouThe ..... full job details .....
