Management Accountant

We''re working with a growing company in Chester who are looking for a Management Accountant to join them at an exciting stage of their journey. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Directors and project managers to shape financial decisions as the business scales. Management accounts and reporting - Preparing monthly management accounts including balance sheet variance analysis, PandL analysis, cash flow forecasting, lead month end and year end close and stock variation. Financial Processing and control - Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers, inputting and posting all purchase and sales invoices, bank posting,raising proforma invoices, supplier payment scheduling and issue remittance advice''s with payroll inputting and daily bank reconciliations. Credit Control - Monitor incoming payment dates and proactively chasing customer payments by managing debtor due days, overdue escalation, resolving invoice queries and disputes. Tax and compliance - VAT returns and maintaining accurate records for HMRC queries. Leadership and Communication - Build strong relationships across with the business. Handling customer and supplier questions whilst maintaining strong relationships.
