Management Accountant

Your new companyAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a successful and innovative business based in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a key role within the finance team, offering broad exposure across multiple business areas and the chance to work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and business performance.Your new roleAs Management Accountant, you will take ownership of the financial reporting and performance analysis for designated business units. Working within a collaborative finance team, you will deliver accurate and insightful management information while partnering with key stakeholders across the organisation.Key responsibilities will include:Ownership of the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet for designated business units.Preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed commentary and variance analysis.Production of annual budgets, forecasts and periodic reforecasts.Business partnering with budget holders and operational teams to support decision-making and improve financial understanding.Analysis of revenue, margins, operating costs and key financial and operational KPIs.Maintaining robust balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.Supporting half-year and year-end reporting requirements, including external audit activities.Reviewing pricing proposals, customer contracts and commercial opportunities, identifying financial risks and ..... full job details .....
