Interim Management Accountant

Reed is delighted to be partnering with a leading education provider in Teesside to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for an initial 3-month temporary assignment. Location: Teesside Assignment: 3-Month Temporary Salary: £16. 41 - £18 per hour Hours: Full-Time (Monday-Thursday 8:30a, - 4:30pm, Fridays 8:30am - 4pm) The role would suit a finance professional with experience in budgeting, reporting and management accounts who is confident using Excel and enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders. If you are immediately available or available at short notice, we''d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts. Support budget holders with budget monitoring and financial reporting. Produce and maintain financial reports using Excel. Monitor project expenditure and income against budget. Maintain and update cashflow forecasts. Analyse financial data and investigate variances. Support the preparation of year-end information and audit requirements. Maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation calculations. Assist with grant and funding expenditure monitoring. Work closely with project managers and departmental managers to ensure accurate financial reporting. Support the wider finance team with process improvements and reporting requirements. Desirable AAT qualified or studying towards a professional qualification. Experience of fixed assets and depreciation accounting. Experience within ..... full job details .....
