Management AccountantDoncaster, South Yorkshire We''re recruiting for a Management Accountant to join an established and growing finance function. This is a varied role offering responsibility across month-end reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, and regulatory reporting, with regular exposure to senior stakeholders. You''ll work closely with the Finance Manager and wider business to provide accurate financial information, support commercial decision-making, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance and controls. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Produce financial reports and monthly CFO reporting packs. Complete variance analysis and provide clear commentary on business performance. Prepare income statements, balance sheets and supporting financial information. Assist with weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activity. Prepare VAT returns and ensure ongoing compliance. Assist with year-end accounts, audits, and statutory reporting. Liaise with internal and external auditors where required. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and controls. Present financial information and insights to senior stakeholders, including directors. Contribute to wider finance projects and business change initiatives.
