Assistant Management Accountant Morley, Leeds 34,000 Full-time, Office-based Permanent We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join an established finance team based in Morley, Leeds. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their accounting experience within a supportive team, gaining hands-on exposure across month-end, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT, audit, tax and financial reporting. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance function while developing your technical knowledge and experience. The Role Your responsibilities will include: Managing overhead cost lines, including supporting schedules, accruals and prepayments Maintaining IFRS 16 schedules Processing group accounts into Cognos for consolidation Creating recharge invoices Supporting month-end statement batch creation Revaluing open transactions for changes in foreign exchange rates Producing cost reports and financial information for key stakeholders Managing balance sheet accounts and completing detailed reconciliations Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements Supporting the external audit process, including preparing relevant information and schedules Preparing tax packs and supporting documentation Assisting with month-end and year-end close Responding to finance-related queries and providing operational support Supporting the wider finance ..... full job details .....
