Major Works Project Manager

Major Works Project Manager - Canary Wharf Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday Work from home: Once per week (Friday) Duties and Responsibilities Lead on all stages of project delivery from feasibility, concept and design and manage through to completion and sign-off. The range of projects include internal/external refurbishments, dilapidation and improvement works, MandE systems, insurance works and ad-hoc surveying activities. The range of projects will vary between self-delivery and appointment of an independent/specialist services. Conduct feasibility studies to determine project scope, estimated cost and forecast programme. Carrying out building, condition and measured surveys, defect diagnosis and report writing. Provide project management and contract administration for major works and long-term projects as required. Work to commercial targets for income generation. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead on project commencement activities for long term maintenance and capital expenditure projects including carrying out building, condition and measured surveys in order to compile scope of works and assist with the development of project specifications. Advise on legal obligations and standards in order to factor requirements into project specification.
