Maintenance TechnicianOverviewWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy engineering team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and site equipment through planned preventative maintenance and rapid response to equipment breakdowns.The successful candidate will play a key role in minimising downtime, improving equipment reliability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of manufacturing machinery and production equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults to minimise production downtime.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective fault finding and repairs.Install, commission and test new machinery and equipment where required.Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they result in equipment failure.Maintain conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment and other production machinery.Read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and technical manuals.Record all maintenance activities accurately using maintenance logs or a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).Liaise closely with production teams to prioritise maintenance activities and ..... full job details .....
