Electrical Maintenance Technician

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Electrician-to join our client''s field-based team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across Domestic, Commercial and Industrial environments.

The role will involve electrical repairs, installations, fault finding and maintenance, including three-phase systems, distribution boards, pumps, motors, lighting and emergency lighting.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Install and replace electrical equipment, lighting, sockets and distribution boards.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
• Carry out three-phase electrical repairs.
• Install and maintain pumps and motors.
• Test and maintain emergency lighting systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical information.
• Complete job sheets and accurately record works undertaken.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.

About You

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in three-phase electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of Domestic, Commercial and Industrial electrical systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK Driving Licence with at least 12 months'' driving experience.
• AM2 desirable.

Working Hours & Pay

Salary:35,000 - -40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours:-Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday:-8:00am - 3:30pm
