Site & Maintenance Technician/Engineer

Location: Witham

Salary: -35,000 - -40,000

Shift Pattern: Weekly rotation - 05:15-14:00 & 14:00-22:30 - Saturday overtime required on a rotational basis to support production

Role Overview

We''re looking for a proactive and hands-on Site & Maintenance Technician/Engineer to join our client''s Witham team. This role is key to ensuring site and equipment run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You''ll play a vital part in reducing downtime and supporting the day-to-day operations of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and close the site as required

• Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems

• Complete routine repairs and equipment upgrades

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Qualifications & Requirements

• NVQ or equivalent experience

• Full UK driving licence

• First Aid trained (or willing to train)

• Forklift licence (or willing to train)

• Solid knowledge of general building maintenance

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently

• Awareness of H&S regulations

Please note; due to the hours / shift pattern; if you do not reside in central Witham; you will need to be a car driver as public transport does not serve the site based on the hours.
