Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer or Fabric Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role?
A leading workplace and facilities management company is looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join its expanding team, maintaining high-quality office environments across London Zones 1 and 2. This is a mobile role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of client sites carrying out reactive maintenance, repairs and fit-out support.
The Role As the Maintenance Specialist, you will:
- Carry out first-line maintenance, diagnosing faults and completing repairs or arranging specialist contractors where required.
- Deliver a wide range of reactive maintenance including plumbing, minor electrical works, decorating, carpentry and general fabric repairs.
- Complete site inspections and identify larger repair requirements.
- Support office fit-outs and tenant move-ins, including mounting TVs, installing whiteboards and completing finishing works.
- Oversee contractor works to ensure they are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Travel between sites across London using public transport, managing your workload through a mobile job management system.
- Build positive relationships with clients while delivering an excellent on-site service.
- Previous experience within Facilities Management, Building Maintenance or Construction.
- A Level 2 City & Guilds qualification in Electrical, Plumbing or Carpentry.
- Experience carrying out general building maintenance and fault finding.
- A good understanding of electrical, plumbing and general building systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
- A professional, customer-focused approach with confidence working in occupied buildings.
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a supportive team.
- £36,500-£50,000 salary depending on experience.
- Travel card provided, with additional work expenses reimbursed.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with some flexibility where required.
