Maintenance Person

Maintenance Person- Electrical Bias 
Monday - Friday with flexible daytime hours - 42.5 hours per week
£34,000 Per Year

Responsibilities:

- Execute general maintenance tasks, including the repair and upkeep of equipment, machinery, fire exits, and smoke alarms.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the optimal functioning of electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform routine inspections to proactively identify potential maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines and budgets.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or replace faulty components.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Experience/Requirements:

- Preferred experience in general and/or electrical maintenance.
- Must possess an electrical qualification with familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
- Essential knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and basic plumbing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and instruction manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with professionalism in interactions with staff and clients.
