Maintenance ManagerLocation: Birmingham Salary: upto £70k plus benefitsElevation Recruitment Group are working with a heavy engineering business to recruit a Maintenance Manager for their site in Birmingham.Responsible for a team of Maintenance Supervisors, the Maintenance Manager will be accountable for the day to day performance, planning and resource management.This is a key role for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes and shaping a more proactive approach to maintenance.The RoleOversee planning and delivery of all maintenance and engineering activitiesDrive a shift towards a proactive maintenance cultureManage employee relations, absence, holidays and resource planningIdentify training needs and support development across the teamProduce and maintain Maintenance KPIs, ensuring targets are metPlan and evaluate plant shutdowns, including labour and sparesMaintain high compliance levels across PM and CM systemsEnsure SAP data is accurate, detailed and updated by the craft teamsManage documentation including risk assessments and method statementsThe PersonHNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or apprentice trainedProven experience leading a large Maintenance functionBackground in a medium to heavy engineering environmentStrong track record of improving maintenance performance and reducing downtimeAble to analyse problems logically and deliver practical solutionsConfident communicator with strong organisational skillsHealth and Safety qualification is ..... full job details .....
