Maintenance Engineer Location: Seasalter area, Kent Salary: £21.00 £22.50 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance) + overtime available Shift Pattern: Rotating Week 1: Monday Friday, 06 00 Week 2: Monday Thursday, 14 30 Friday, 14 30 Syntech Recruitment are supporting a manufacturing client in the Seasalter area seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support plant reliability, equipment performance, and continuous improvement across site operations. Maintenance engineer responsibilities: A balanced split of PPM and reactive maintenance Fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems Working on a range of equipment including automation, hydraulics and pneumatics Supporting ongoing improvements and site upgrades Using a CMMS system to manage and prioritise work Collaborating with production and engineering teams to keep things running smoothly Maintenance engineer experience: Experience in a maintenance engineering role (electrical or multi-skilled) Background within manufacturing or industrial environments Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Someone reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently If you have some experience with production machinery then we definitely want to hear from you Apply today to speak to one of our consultants.
