Location: Seasalter area, Kent
Salary: £21.00 – £22.50 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance) + overtime available
Shift Pattern: Rotating

• Week 1: Monday–Friday, 06:00 – 14:00

• Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 14:00 – 22:30 | Friday, 14:00 – 19:30

Syntech Recruitment are supporting a manufacturing client in the Seasalter area seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support plant reliability, equipment performance, and continuous improvement across site operations.

Maintenance engineer responsibilities:

• A balanced split of PPM and reactive maintenance

• Fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems

• Working on a range of equipment including automation, hydraulics and pneumatics

• Supporting ongoing improvements and site upgrades

• Using a CMMS system to manage and prioritise work

• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to keep things running smoothly

Maintenance engineer experience:

• Experience in a maintenance engineering role (electrical or multi-skilled)

• Background within manufacturing or industrial environments

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability

• Someone reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently
