Maintenance Engineer

About the Role- Maintenance Engineer Respond to breakdowns and maintain site wide electrical and Mechanical systems in order to minimise engineering downtime. Provide continuous improvement support for all on site functions and business needs We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability, availability and performance of our machinery, equipment and site facilities. Working as part of a busy engineering team, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, statutory inspections, breakdown response and continuous improvement. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager and wider business to minimise downtime and ensure our equipment operates safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Carry out all engineering activities safely and professionally, ensuring compliance with current legislation, company procedures and engineering best practice. Complete planned preventative maintenance, reactive/breakdown maintenance and statutory checks as required. Work closely with the Engineering Manager to prioritise workloads and ensure appropriate resources are available to resolve issues effectively. Work as part of the on-site Engineering team to minimise engineering downtime and prioritise maintenance activities in line with business needs.
