Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical BiasSalary: 51,000 + Overtime/Shift AllowanceShift Pattern: 4-on / 4-off Rotating Panama ShiftLocation: Insert Location The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team within a busy manufacturing environment.This is a mechanically biased maintenance role (approximately 70% Mechanical / 30% Electrical), ideal for an engineer with a strong mechanical maintenance background who also has good fundamental electrical knowledge.You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of production machinery, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and operational.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Planned and reactive maintenance of production machinery and equipmentMechanical fault finding, repair and preventative maintenanceWorking with chains, belts and bearingsMaintenance of pumps, valves and hydraulic systemsWorking with pneumatic systems and conveyorsMaintenance and fault finding on injection moulding machinesMaintenance and fault finding on blow moulding machinesDiagnosing mechanical and electrical faultsSupporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiativesEnsuring all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficientlyElectrical SkillsAlthough the role is mechanically biased, candidates should have a good working knowledge of basic electrical systems, including:SensorsRelaysDrives and invertersStar/Delta ..... full job details .....
