Shift Engineer Location: Thatcham, BerkshireSalary: £48,375 per annum Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am 40 hours per week Shift Engineer - Thatcham Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Shift Engineer to join an established and successful manufacturing business in Thatcham. Working as part of the engineering team, you''ll play a key role in keeping a high-volume production site running safely, efficiently and reliably. You''ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and engineering improvements across a wide range of modern production and packaging equipment. This is a hands-on role where your mechanical and electrical expertise will directly contribute to reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability and keeping production moving. The Role As a Shift Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site machinery and equipment. Responding to breakdowns and carrying out effective fault finding and repairs. Diagnosing both mechanical and electrical faults. Supporting the reliability and continuous improvement of production equipment. Working across multiple production lines, B2B vessels and cooking vessels.
