Assistant Maintenance Engineer Salary: £30,000 per annum Location: Andover Full time and Permanent Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-3pm Benefits Package: 23 days holiday plus bank holidays. I have been requested by our Client, a well-established specialist manufacturer supplying protective equipment into the Military, Police, and Security sectors, to recruit an Assistant Maintenance Engineer to join their team and play an important role in keeping a wide range of machinery and equipment operating safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong mechanical and electrical background who enjoys problem-solving, preventative maintenance and working across a varied range of equipment. The Role As an Assistant Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and efficient operation of a diverse range of machinery and systems, including steam boiler heating systems and hydraulic presses. Your responsibilities will include: Developing a strong working knowledge of all site equipment and machinery. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.
