Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Location: Hyde, Greater Manchester Salary: 45,000 to 47,000 depending on experience Hours: 36 hours per week Rotating shifts The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join a well established and growing manufacturing business based in Hyde. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer who enjoys a varied, hands on role working with automated machinery, production equipment and electrical installations. The Role Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring production machinery, electrical systems and factory equipment operate efficiently and reliably. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs and maintenance across the manufacturing facility. Working on automated assembly cells, injection moulding machines, extrusion lines, hydraulic presses and conveyor systems. Diagnosing faults on PLC and HMI controlled machinery. Completing planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
