Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for a permanent position based with our client in Barnsley.Immediate start available (subject to interview process)Salary is 48,158.45 per annum.This will be no working a Panama shifts pattern 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am on a 2-3-2 pattern alternating days and nightsYou will be responsible for keeping production and Plant machinery in service and the downtime to a minimum. The role is to work as part of a team covering 24/7 demands of the businessMain Responsibilities:Comply with all HSE policies and procedures.Ensuring that Engineering records are accurately maintained and presented in a timely manner.Electrical diagnostic work on PLC systemsImplementing and supporting rapid breakdown fault finding and rectification.Able to recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.Breakdowns, fault finding and repair of complex machinery and ancillaries.PLC''s / Controls SIEMENSAssist with the focussed improvement team.3 phase electrical systems and operations.Initiating improvement in practices, Systems and procedures.Mechanical maintenance.Qualifications and Experience:Electrical qualifications (minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).Time served engineering apprenticeship.Trouble shoot and repair equipment and systems which include Electrical, mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and PLC.3 + years'' experience within a manufacturing ..... full job details .....
