Maintenance Engineer - Days Panama Shift Pattern BlackburnSalary £46,800 We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a strong Mechanical Bias to join our clients manufacturing site in Blackburn. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background and is strong with hydraulics and able to read and interpret hydraulic drawings. You will be working as part of a wider Engineering Team to maintain machinery on site, supporting machine set ups and improving cycle times. An understanding of injection and blow moulding machinery is advantageous but not essential. Diagnose and fault-find, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faultsSupport machine changeovers, tool changes and continuous improvement activityWork closely with production teams to minimise downtimeEnsure all work is carried out in line with health and safety proceduresComplete maintenance documentation accuratelyExperience and Qualification required for a Maintenance EngineerApprentice-trained or time-served Maintenance Engineer with a minimum Level 3 qualificationExperience working on injection and blow moulding machines would be an advantage Mechanical backgroundStrong ..... full job details .....
