Maintenance Engineer

Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Maintenance Engineer in Dudley.

This is a full-time, site-based position with a growing employer in the heart of the West Midlands. The day-to-day tasks of this position will include equipment and electrical maintenance, maintenance engineering, maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, and much more.

The ideal candidate:

• Must have experience with slitting and decoiling
• Able to work unsupervised or part of a team
• Fully conversant with all aspects of engineering
• Working knowledge of 3-phase electrical control systems (to include contractor, inverter circuits, motors, and safety circuits)

Qualifications/Experience:

• MIG/MAG/Arc Welding
• Hydrualic and pneumatic systems
• Experience or in-depth knowledge of Machining, Lathe/Milling/Grinding
• 17/18 Electrical Edition/AM2/AM2S

The shift pattern works as follows:

• 3 weeks - 6 am - 2 pm
• Then for 1 week 2 pm - 10 pm
• Then the cycle will begin

There is also overtime and weekend availability.-

Salary - from -35,000 per year-
